Welcome to RIP Gallery: Printing, Art & a Place to Belong
Some ideas arrive fully formed. Others show up as a half-finished sketch, a folder of photographs, or the persistent feeling that something wonderful could happen if the right people found one another.
We have a soft spot for all of them.
Welcome to Raven’s Ink Printing & Gallery, affectionately known as R.I.P. Gallery: a Bergen County, New Jersey, business bringing together professional printing, creative support, local art, and a growing vision for community.
Perhaps you found us while looking for business cards. Perhaps you came for poetry, an exhibition, or a curious little raven on your screen.
However you landed here, pull up a perch. There’s quite a bit to discover.
What is Raven’s Ink Printing & Gallery?
Raven’s Ink Printing & Gallery offers commercial, personal, and archival art printing, alongside art production consultations, art acquisition support, and community events. Our printing business helps support our broader vision for a gallery and gathering space where people can rest, create, connect, and share their work.
We also sponsor our sister organization, the Crafty Crows’ Coven, which supports arts education and art equity in New Jersey and New York.
The thread connecting it all is simple: we care about what people make, the memories they carry, and the communities they build.
You’ll find that spirit throughout our story. You’ll also find a few bird jokes. The ravens insisted.
Printing services for businesses with something to say
A business card can begin a conversation. A banner can help someone find your booth. A poster can turn “I didn’t know that was happening” into “I’ll be there.”
Good printing gives your message a physical presence.
Our business printing services help local businesses, independent professionals, organizations, and creative ventures bring their ideas into the world. Products include:
Business cards, in standard rectangular and square formats.
Posters and large-format prints, including 36-inch-wide options.
Lightweight and durable banners for different display needs.
Documents for everyday business and organizational use.
Postcards, yard signs, stickers, magnets, and decals, with custom project inquiries welcome.
Whether you’re introducing a new business, preparing for an event, or refreshing the materials you hand to customers, we begin with what you want the piece to accomplish.
We work with artists, schools, churches, hospitals, charities, municipalities, and other organizations creating community impact. Some projects need a straightforward print run. Others need a little conversation before anyone presses “print.”
Both are welcome.
Explore the printing catalog, or start with a free print production quote. You don’t need to arrive knowing every paper size and production term. That’s what the conversation is for.
Personal printing for the things worth keeping
There’s a difference between having a photograph somewhere on your phone and seeing it every day.
One lives among screenshots and forgotten downloads. The other gets a place in your life.
Our personal printing services help turn images, celebrations, stories, and memories into objects you can hold, display, give, and revisit. The possibilities include photographic prints, invitations, greeting cards, holiday cards, calendars, photo books, and printed books.
A family photograph might become a gift. Your artwork might become a set of greeting cards. A collection of images might finally become the book you’ve been meaning to make.
We make room for joyful occasions and tender ones, too. If you’re creating something in remembrance of someone you love, you can contact us about your project and talk through what you have in mind.
Some things deserve a life beyond the camera roll.
Art printing that helps your work leave the screen
Artists spend a great deal of time making decisions other people may never notice: the edge of a shadow, the warmth of a color, the space around a line.
We understand why the next decision—how to reproduce or present that work—matters.
Raven’s Ink offers archival art printing and creative print formats, with support for projects ranging from display prints to zines, books, and art trading cards.
Perhaps you’re preparing work for an exhibition. Perhaps you want a small, approachable format people can collect. Perhaps a digital project has reached the point where it needs to exist on paper.
Our approach begins with your vision. Tell us what you’re making, how you hope to share it, and what you want the finished piece to feel like.
You dream it. We help give it form.
Creative consultations: a little company for the unfinished idea
Sometimes the project is clear. Sometimes the project is currently seventeen notes, three reference images, and a strong feeling.
We offer two consultation services for different stages of the creative process.
Help making your own work
An Art Production Consultation gives you time with our team to work through a creative project and explore a path toward making it happen.
Virtual and in-person appointments are available. Bring the questions, the sticking points, and the ideas that need another set of eyes.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before asking for support.
Help finding art you love
Our Art Consultation service supports people looking for artwork. Tell us about the work you’re hoping to find, and our acquisition and advisory team can help with the search.
You may have a particular piece in mind, a space you want to bring to life, or a sense of what moves you without the vocabulary to describe it yet.
The ravens are rather fond of a search.
A growing creative community in Bergen County
Behind the printing and production work is a larger question:
What would it feel like to have somewhere you could simply be?
Our vision for R.I.P. Gallery is a community-focused third space in Bergen County—a place beyond home and work where people can encounter art, exchange ideas, make things, and give their wings a rest.
Curiosity belongs here. So do quiet moments, unfamiliar perspectives, and the creative practice you haven’t touched in years.
Our permanent gallery location is still being developed. In the meantime, collaborations and events give that vision places to take root.
We’re building toward a gathering space with local artists, seasonal exhibitions, community resources, and programming that welcomes participation without demanding perfection.
Consider this an invitation to grow alongside us.
Events for people who like a little life with their art
Art has a way of starting conversations that ordinary introductions never quite reach.
A poem gives someone words for an experience. A painting prompts a question. Two people discover they’ve been thinking about the same thing from opposite sides of the room.
Our approach to community events makes room for those encounters, with programming centered on creativity, conversation, and connection. The broader vision includes book clubs, poetry nights, group discussions, workshops, meet-and-greets, and creative gatherings.
For a glimpse of that spirit in action, meet On the Brink: Living in the Liminal.
Presented with 7 Souls Tattoo and Piercing in Ramsey, the exhibition brings New Jersey and New York artists, poets, and musicians together to explore life’s in-between moments.
Artwork will be on display October 25–November 1, 2026, with a reception and meet-and-greet on October 28, from 7–9 p.m., at 2 E Main St, Ramsey, NJ.
Explore the On the Brink exhibition details, or RSVP for the reception.
For whatever comes next, keep an eye on the calendar. Our flock is still gathering.
Meet the Crafty Crows’ Coven
Creativity needs opportunity. It also needs supplies, equipment, encouragement, and somewhere to begin.
The Crafty Crows’ Coven, also known as CCC or the Three Cs, works toward greater access to arts education and creative resources in New Jersey and New York.
Its mission centers on three groups: children, communities, and creators.
Children: giving young makers the tools to explore
CCC’s current fundraising objective supports supplies and equipment for K–12 school arts programs.
That can mean paints, pencils, canvases, and easels. It can also mean photography equipment, graphic design software, loaner instruments, or theatre lighting.
Different young people discover their creative voices through different doors. The goal is to help more of those doors open.
Communities: making things together
CCC’s community art grant model is designed to support collaborative public projects involving three or more artists.
Think murals, sculptures, and arts events that bring people together and leave something meaningful behind. Prospective partners can contact the team to discuss projects and current opportunities.
Creators: building toward the Crafters’ Nest
A long-term goal is the Crafters’ Nest, an open-access makerspace envisioned with shared equipment, supplies, studio space, learning opportunities, and an art library.
Plans also include an equipment and supply lending library, allowing members to borrow resources for projects at home, and rotating exhibitions where community members can share their work.
It’s an ambitious nest. We think it’s worth building.
For current fundraising information, supply donation options, and partnership inquiries, visit the Crafty Crows’ Coven page. CCC is working toward 501(c)(3) designation; it does not currently hold that status, and donations are not currently tax-deductible.
The human behind the feathers: Madame Eve N Dawn
Every flock has an origin story.
Ours begins with Madame Eve N Dawn, artist, entrepreneur, community health worker, and founder and managing partner of Raven’s Ink Printing & Gallery and the Crafty Crows’ Coven.
Eve’s path has wandered through desert landscapes, a Maine paper mill town, classrooms, stages, photography, and community programming. At Princeton University, she began studying economics on a pre-medical track before returning to the creative practice that had accompanied her since childhood.
Drawing became a source of joy again. Commissions followed. So did a change in direction.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art & Archaeology on the Practice of Art track, bringing together an interest in people, creative expression, and the ways art can make space for difficult conversations.
Her experience includes theatre, arts collectives, event coordination, teaching, and photography. Those threads meet in RIP Gallery: the practical pleasure of making something, paired with the human pleasure of making something possible for someone else.
There is also a rather serious affection for printers and silly pieces of paper.
Read Eve’s full founder story. All available evidence suggests she is human. The ravens continue their investigation.
Why the raven?
For us, the raven holds curiosity, memory, mystery, and transformation.
It speaks to the ways we carry one another through change: grief and renewal, upheaval and discovery, love and laughter. That symbolism runs through our work, whether we’re helping someone preserve a memory, bring an artwork into physical form, or find a room full of people who understand.
There’s a little darkness in our aesthetic and a great deal of warmth in our welcome.
“Rest in peace” is also an invitation to slow down. To make room. To exist without immediately turning the moment into an accomplishment.
Loiterers wanted. Litterers hunted.
Find your place in the flock
You don’t need to be an artist to connect with RIP Gallery. You don’t need a finished project, an impressive portfolio, or a carefully rehearsed explanation of why you’re here.
You might need business cards. You might want to support a school arts program. You might be looking for a poem, a painting, or a conversation that stays with you.
